About Us

Now in its seventh year, JesusFest is organized by an all-volunteer, interdenominational group of Christian pastors and laypeople in Vernon and surrounding communities. It was conceived in the summer of 2001, in the aftermath of Mission Connecticut with Luis Palau.

Our hosting organization, Northeast Christians At Work, is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Vernon, Connecticut. All contributions are tax-deductible. The purposes of JesusFest are:

To help us all to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Good News and leading souls to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in a culturally pleasant, relevant, and neutral environment.

To help to create oneness in the Body of Christ in the Tri-Town area, by breaking down denominational walls and stimulating cross-utilization of Christian resources in the short-term and long-term.

To express and demonstrate the joy and fun of being a Christian. The joy of the Lord is our strength!

To build community awareness of local churches and to be a source of “leads.”

To be a catalyst for transforming the Tri-Town area’s culture from secular to sacred.
